While 1977 saw the introduction of a new version of the iconic Tyrrell P34 six-wheel Formula One car, by mid-season it has become apparent that this new design was actually inferior in many ways to the previous years car. Hence for the Belgian GP at Spa the 1976 model was instead fielded, driven here in his usual sideways style by super Swede Ronnie Peterson!
