*General Screw Installation & Notes: Use either a wax or grease on the threads to help prevent stripping while going into new or hard material. Some screws that are included in the our kits remain phillips heads but are still stainless steel. We have done this for strength, as a result of our field testing, on small diameter screws (2mm and 2-56" dia). This may include some chassis screws and differential screws. All other remain socket head. Please refer to your assembly manual for screw locations. Does not include any machined collared screws or screw pins (pins with threads on the end)
** Alg009 Screw Kit Special Notes: All 2mm and 2.5mm button head screws are replaced with socket head screws - All wood type/coarse thread screws are replaced with the correct diameter machine thread screw and will re-bite into all plastics. Machined collared screws (that spin on bushings/bearing) are not included these are considered machined surfaces and not screws. Screws that are old lengths (ie.. 22mm in lenghth) are supplied with longer screws which can be either trimmed down or use with a lock nut for a better hold/assembly.
